Contaminated

As a poet and as a person, I am very honored to have my work and my voice included here. I wrote the poem Contaminated about the water crisis and injustices happening in Flint.

While I've never claimed to be a socio-political writer, some issues require us to speak up and use whatever platform we have to get the word out and support strangers who need us most.

Many, many thanks to The People's Tribune in Chicago and the Caravel Literary Arts Journal for publishing this piece.

And, to my fellow poets featured here, let us continue to be light where there is darkness.
